Introductory Diving For Beginners
Perfect for those new to diving, our beginner courses are led by experienced CMAS-qualified instructors who prioritise your safety, comfort, and confidence at every step. You’ll learn the essential fundamentals of scuba diving in a relaxed, supportive environment, with clear guidance both in and out of the water. Each session is designed to help you build trust in your equipment, master basic skills, and enjoy your first real experience of breathing and moving underwater with ease.

CMAS Level 1 Open Water Diving Course (3 days)
Become a CMAS One-Star Diver
Our CMAS One-Star Diver (Level 1 Open Water) 3 day course equips you with the core skills to dive safely with a similarly qualified buddy. Gain confidence and mastery over your equipment and techniques.

Skills you will master
After completing our CMAS One-Star Diver course, you will be proficient in:
- Scuba equipment assembly, checks, care, and maintenance.
- Correct fitting and use of mask, fins, snorkel, BCD, regulator, and weights.
- Safe entry and exit techniques from shore and boats.
- Breathing comfortably underwater and buoyancy control.
- Mask clearing and mask removal/replacement underwater.
- Regulator recovery and clearing.
- Controlled descents and ascents.
- Equalising ears and mask.
- Underwater swimming techniques and finning.
- Hovering and maintaining neutral buoyancy.
- Underwater communication using standard hand signals.
- Buddy system procedures and pre-dive safety checks.
- Air monitoring and gas management.
- Sharing air with an alternate air source in an emergency.
- Basic emergency procedures and controlled emergency ascents (where required by the training standard).
